Instructions for Cat Crochet Coaster
R1: Create a magic ring Make 2 chains (2ch) followed by 12 double crochets (12dc)
R2: Make 2 chains (2ch) Follow with 2 double crochets (2dc)
R3: Make 2 chains (2ch) Follow with 1 double crochet (1dc) then 2 double crochets (2dc) in the next stitch
R4: Make 2 chains (2ch) Follow with 1 double crochet (1dc), 1 double crochet (1dc), then 2 double crochets (2dc) in the next stitch
Ears:
For the first ear, skip the first stitch and make 7 single crochets (7sc)
For the second ear, skip the first stitch and make 3 double crochets (3dc), 1 treble crochet (1tr), 1 chain (1ch), 1 treble crochet (1tr), and 3 double crochets (3dc)
Finish Your Coaster
Single crochet (sc) all around the piece to create a clean edge
Using a needle and black yarn, stitch three small lines on each side of the central circle to create the cat’s whiskers
