• 15mm Safety Eyes
• Yarn (Bernat or blanket yarn works best)

• R1 6 SC in MR (6)
• R 2 Inc x 6 (12)
• R3 sc, Inc x 6 (18)
• R4 2 sc, Inc x 6 (24)
• R5 3 sc, Inc x 6 (30)
• R6 4 sc, Inc x 6 (36)
• R7 5 sc, Inc x6 (42)
• R8 BLO sc around (42)
• R9-19 24 sc around (42)
• R20 5 sc, Dec x 6 (36)
• R21 4 sc, Dec x6 (30)
• R22 DC Inc x 1 slst in same st for the tail

Finish off for long tail for sewing. Add your safety eyes. Next stuff your chicken and use yarn to make mouth. Make sure and close up your chicken.

Chicken Crown

We used red yarn for the crown.

• R1 Ch 7
• R2 In 2nd ch from hook, (hdc, dc, hdc) sl st (hdc, Inc) sl st, (hdc) sl st.
• Finish off leaving a long tail for sewing. Now you can sew it into your chicken’s head.
