Supplies Needed:
There are only a few supplies you need:
- Hair elastic ties
- Hooks that match the size of the yarn that you are using
- Darning needle
Scissors
That is all you need. You may even have those in your bathroom if you look. You can easily find the Hair elastics at the dollar store or Walmart on your next grocery run.
How Long It Takes
As I am writing this, there has been a massive ice storm in our state and this is day 5 stuck inside. I had some elastic hair ties that I don’t use because they tangle my hair and pull my hair. I had scrap yarn (don’t we all) so I made 1 in about 15 minutes.
I tried it in my hair and fell in love. It stays really well and the hair tie no longer pulls my hair. That’s a win in my book.
If you sell online on Marketplace or at a craft show these would do really well. I would place 3-4 in a bag and sell them as a set.
