Mara was looking for a backpack pattern and came across this pattern and so we had to include it in our crochet bag patterns.
She didn’t want a cream or white yarn, so we did a really pretty neutral color. It turned out gorgeous.
April included a ton of photos in her pattern, and Mara said it was super easy to follow. The best part, she said, was the bag can easily be used as a purse or a backpack and is super comfy.

It can be easily made using either a double strand of Lion Brand Rewind Tape Yarn or a single strand of super bulky yarn.
So I have never used tape yarn so it was something new to try. It was really fun. Joni has included YouTube videos to help you through the rounds.
This was super helpful. I am a visual learner and love watching videos and stopping and completing a section and then moving on.

We recently were traveling to one of our favorite cities. We love going out and exploring the local farmer’s market because they have the best veggies.
I crocheted this bag because I wanted a tote bag I could throw in my suitcase without taking up a ton of space, but it would hold a ton of things.
