5 Crochet Baby Doll Patterns: Easy Amigurumi Babies

Save for later

Is there anything cuter than a little one walking around with their baby doll. Our team are parents and grandparents and thought it would be fun in our crochet dolls series to include a Crochet baby doll.

We found several patterns we fell in love with and are bringing them to you. We can’t wait to see which one you fall in love with and create. Let us know in the comments.

Without further ado, here are some of our favorite crochet baby doll patterns.  We do want to note that all of these patterns are for advanced beginners to intermediate crocheters. That just means if you haven’t made an Amigurumi doll or animal and are brand new to crochet, we recommend these beginner crochet patterns instead.

Any little girl would love this beautiful doll. You can easily customize any part of this crochet baby doll including skin color or colors of the outfit. It measures about 18″ and uses basic crochet stiches like slip stitch, magic ring, double crochet and single crochet.

We love that this pattern includes detailed instructions and a video tutorial. If you happen to get stuck, you can always reach out to the designer or check a Facebook group for help as you create your doll.

Erin has 5 granddaughters and she made one for each of them. They each picked out the colors for their bows and dresses, and they turned out beautiful.  One of them picked out pink yarn and said her doll had to be pink.

She had such a great time making these and said they are easy patterns.  They also make cute little dolls in our opinion.

These amigurumi dolls are so cute, and we love that they have patterns for both a boy and girl. They are the perfect doll to drift off to sleep with. You can easily use different colors, especially if making one for a baby shower.

If you add eyes, make sure and use safety eyes and how about naming the boy doll Baby Louis.

We had several people decide to make in our crocheting club, and they all said a few of the same things. First, these make the perfect gift for a baby shower.

Additionally, the photo tutorial is helpful especially if this is your first time making a doll, and they all said that the baby pattern is easy and if you are more a beginner but have made things like pot holders or blankets, you can easily make this pattern.

It’s an easy way to dip your feet into Amigurumi patterns if you haven’t already. It uses basic crochet stitches like single crochet stitches so it’s easier for beginner to do.

We loved what Jane did with this pattern. Her husband and her were expecting their first little one and so they gave everyone one of the dolls under the Christmas tree this past year.

They used the bonus PDF to let everyone come up with a name for the baby. Such an original and cute idea.

How cute is this pacifier? We love this little doll and can think of so many little boys and girls that would love this. It also makes a great gift. This would be so cute in newborn photos or as a gift for a baby shower.

Sara made this for her daughter, who is 2, and she carries around her doll all day. She has a little bottle, but most of the time the crochet baby doll prefers it’s paci.

She said the pattern was easy to follow and uses basic crochet stitches. Just a reminder if you ever aren’t sure of a crochet stitch we have tones of video tutorials on crochet stitches along with written tutorials.

I am so glad we included the crochet baby doll patterns. Our team fell in love with so many of them and have seen the little ones in our life fall in love with their doll.
