Here are the finished measurements for these slouch hats: the circumference at the brim band is 18” (46 cm) when unstretched, and it measures 12” (30 cm) in length from the brim edge to the crown.

It’s designed to fit a head circumference of 20” to 23” (50.5 cm to 58 cm).  She includes a crochet hat size chart in the instructions. 

Jessica had some great things to say after trying out the pattern. She found it easy to follow and loved the way the hat turned out. She did mention that she had to go up a few hook sizes because she tends to crochet with a tighter tension.

This means you won’t have to worry about checking the gauge – simply use your favorite wool with the right crochet hook. We find this pattern to be quite charming, although it’s worth noting that the crochet designer, for whom English isn’t the first language, may have caused some confusion. 

Stacy had some feedback after trying out the pattern, mentioning that the hat turned out very cute. She did face some struggles with certain parts and felt that the pattern could have used a bit more instructions in some areas, but overall, she was pleased with the result.
